SHO – Solventless Hash Oil

SHO – Solventless Hash Oil

Solventless hash oil (SHO) is a type of cannabis concentrate that is extracted without the use of solvents. This is in contrast to other types of cannabis concentrates, such as butane hash oil (BHO), which are extracted using chemical solvents.

SHO is made by pressing kief or bubble hash between two heated plates. The heat and pressure cause the trichomes, the resin glands that contain cannabinoids and terpenes, to melt and release their oils. The resulting oil is then collected and packaged.
