Definition: 710 is slang for cannabis oils and concentrates, because the number “710” flipped upside down spells “OIL.” July 10 (7/10) is celebrated as 710 Day, a holiday for dabs, shatter, wax, and other concentrates, much like April 20 is for cannabis in general.
How Did 710 Day Start?
710 Day grew out of the dabbing community in the early 2010s, as concentrates became more popular in legal markets. Concentrate brands, event organizers, and dispensaries adopted the date, and it has since become one of the bigger sales days of the cannabis calendar.

Concentrates are far stronger than flower. Solvent-based concentrates average roughly 54% to 69% THC, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
